New Vendors Online

We are so pleased to announce that we have had three new vendors join us this week. Circle E Longhorn Beef, Brookman’s Fresh Catch Seafood and Brew and Plow Farm. Come on over to our online market and get your order in for Wednesday pickup at the Fairgrounds.

We want to thank each and every one of our customers, vendors and sponsors for all their dedication and support of the Greeneville Farmers Market. We will miss seeing your smiling faces over the winter every week, and we look forward to seeing you next year.

With Warm Regards,

A Mobile Seafood Market.

Brookman’s Fresh Catch Seafood brings the sea to you. All of our seafood is fresh, quality product all from the United States. Most of our seafood comes from the Gulf near Panama City FL. Some of our products are coming from Chesapeake VA and Alaska. We want the Tri Cities area to have the best seafood available.

Brookman’s has also joined our OnLine Market of vendors, and will be selling year round with the market.

Halloween Bash

At the Market Oct. 26th :
Silent Farmers, our newest group this year involved in the Farm and Food Teen Training Program at Rural Resources, will be out to greet all the ghouls at the Greeneville Farmers Market Halloween Bash. To help everyone prepare for indoor planting during the late fall and early spring, the teens would love to show and share with you some container gardening ideas, as well as how to implement your potting soil to make your plants good and happy. Show up at the top of each scary hour during market, starting at 9 a.m., to see our gardens and let us share with you. Also, other teens involved in the program will be selling caramel apples for $1.00 to raise money for the program. Come and cover your apple in caramel and then top with your favorite toppings.

Market Events for Aug

We want to thank all of our customers and vendors for helping us to grow by leaps and bounds this year.

We have a special day coming up at the Greeneville Farmers Market and could use your help. Aug 24th, not only will THE Group from Rural Resources be joining with special demos. We will also have Friends of the Library with us, reading stories to the young and young at heart. We will be collecting books and holding a book sale and fund raiser for Friends of the Library. All proceeds from the book sale will go to this wonderful cause. If you have any books you want to donate, please call Michelle at 423-972-1263 to arrange pick up.

In the mean time, check out what we have in store for you today here online, and enjoy the bountiful harvests of our vendors.

Online Market Open

We had an awesome day at the market this week. With over 400 visitors to the market, and 15+ vendors, and everything from corn, potatoes, green beans, squashes, blackberries, home baked breads and so much more.

If you were unable to attend, you missed a great time with, a Pampered Chef Fundraiser, and free coffee from Creamy Cup. We had vendors line-dancing, lots of door prizes given away, and a super Grand Prize basket for our 2nd Annual Bring a Neighbor Day. Mark your calendar as we will be doing it again next year!

You can still order online for Wednesday pickup. See you at the Market!

New Online Market Hours

We are changing our Online Market Hours to work better with the physical Market. If you missed the market today, you can still get some your fresh fruits and veggies by placing an order online. Pick up time is still 5 – 5:30 on Wednesday, at the Livestock Pavilion at the fairgrounds.

And please, feel free to share this email with your family and friends. New listings for fresh veggies and fruits should start hoping now that produce is starting to come in. We look forward to many of our physical market vendors joining us here online.

Online Ordering Open for week of 6/13 - 6/16

Don’t forget, if you can’t make it to our Market Saturday, from 8 to 1, under the livestock pavilion at the Greenevillle Fairgrounds, you can always place an order online for a Wednesday evening pickup.

OMG! This week has flown by.

I am so sorry this is coming out today, I have been a day behind all week, until I realized today is Friday, which means baking day for Saturday market at the fairgrounds! Then, it dawned on me,, I didn’t open the online market yesterday.. what a blonde I can be. I’m keeping the online market open until Monday, so if you don’t make it to market at the fairgrounds on Saturday, we hope you will come visit us here. We do have a new vendor at the fairgrounds this week, Circle E Longhorns has fresh, grass fed beef for sale. Come on down and check us out! And don’t forget, at the market, we can accept EBT (double dollar this month) and debit cards.

Welcome June

If you are unable to make the market on Saturdays, don’t sweat it. We are keeping the online market open year round so that you can still get your fresh produce and other goodies.

Remember to order by Sunday evening at 3 PM, and pickup is on Wednesdays at the Greene County Fairgrounds, by the Livestock Pavilion.

Fresh veggies are starting to come, so be sure to check out the listing each week.
